The cottage has a private, fenced garden with outdoor furniture, BBQ, boat/car parking and a cliff top "folly".

The cottage is ideal for water sports, with moorings, a nearby slipway (and canoes by arrangement). Local activities include woodland and hill walking, fishing, golf (Traigh, near Arisaig) and bird watching. Half a mile away is Glenuig village, which has a general store with a Post Office and a pub with a restaurant - and diving air is available from the pub.
